Kombucha always tastes that way, I think. I tried it once, and I did grow to enjoy it by the end, but...I've never bought it again.

I do love Twlight, but I've never had the bars. Chocolate candy bars were never my thing.

I love Twilight bars! They're so rich, I can only eat about 1/3 of one at a time, though. And that just means it lasts longer!

But I just can't wrap my tastebuds around kombucha. To me, it always tastes like dirty socks. (Well, at least the way I think dirty socks would taste.) I'm really sorry you didn't try the So Delicious coconut milk kefir. It's loaded with probiotics, but tastes so good! I love the strawberry flavor best. And you can get $1-off coupons to help defray the cost at Turtle Mountain's website here: http://turtlemountain.com/products/coupon.html

Mmmmm...everything looks delicious, especially that soup! I love that you included sage, for some reason I can't get enough of it lately. And genius idea about the rice! I wouldn't have thought to do that, glad you gave me such a great idea.

Oh the bread! It would be so hard for us bread lovers to give up bread! It would be the ultimate torture! :-P

The thought of the Chubby Bunny challenge with pepperocinis is going to keep me giggling all day long! LOL!

Way to go with the rice! Mr. Kook is on a low-wheat and low-starch diet, so I've been thickening soups with white bean flour, and sometimes chickpea flour. It's not too bad, though I do prefer wheat-thickened soups.
